Hi Steve,
I've got all of my lines led aft. At the base of the mast are 6 Schaefer 506-60 lift blocks. These are attached to sections of aluminum rail which are bolted thru the deck and have a fabricated base plates that are tied into the mast below deck with turnbuckles. Next are 2 Schaefer triple turning blocks, one on each side. There are bullseye fairleads where the lines go under my dodger leading to EasyLock Midi triple linestoppers. Behind each line clutch is a Harken 16 winch. This arrangement works well for me. I have to use an 8" winch handle on those two winches rather than one of my 10" so I don't bang my knuckles on the dodger frame.
: I am looking for information/suggestions on
: running the main and jib halyards back to the
: cockpit. If you have done this to your boat
: or have suggestions on the hardware needed
: and locations I would appreciate input. I am
: interested in the block sizes and location,
: winch location and rope clutches you may have
: used.
