I'm thinking of opening up my interior in the forward part of the boat and I'm interested in any comments from other owners. What I'm thinking about doing is removing the bottom third of the bulkhead between the head area and the forepeak (not the main bulkhead next to the mast). I'm also thinking about cutting away the fibreglass under the forepeak in order to get access to that area. I currently have an insert for the forepeak and want to keep that intact but I would like to store sails and other junk underneath. I've done lots of modifications to the boat but I'm concerned this may have some structural effect that I need to be aware about. Has anyone messed around with this or have any thoughts? I'll be sharpening my blades for awhile before I dig in so I have some time to think about it. Thanks - Bob Seawitch
