My name is Rob Walsh and I have purchased the Yankee, Impetuous. She has been seriously neglected for quite some time, and I have been seriously rebuilding her. One time I have to believe that she was one of the fastest of all Yankees. But all the extra wenches, cleats, rails, is all there for some serious racing. I do not believe that the serious racing is the direction that I want to go. I bought her to do some serious cruising and The extra cleating, rails, blocks, wenches, instruments have put some wounds in her. And I have started to repair her from the holes that the additional rigging has put in her . But as I explore into your web site and the pictures that you have in their I see that there is a few extra wenches and soft rigging that could be a benefit. I'm not sure how far I should restore her back to original? And I was wondering if you, or someone that you may know could help me? I have to believe that I will restore her to almost as good as new if not as good as new. I enjoy labor of love and have put a lot of time and money into her. I also have built a serious trailer for her. And without a glitch brought her from San Pedro to Reno Nevada, where I am rebuilding her. I have been a cabinet maker all my life. I am good with mechanical, painting, body repair and metal fabrication which helps me to bring this project back to life. If you could help I would appreciate it. Thank you Rob Walsh
