I'm trying to free up my rudder. It seems very stiff. She's hauled out and all connections to steering have been disconnected. Just the rudder is hard to move from below and I'm concerned with the effort the Voyager wind vane and Raytheon Autohelm will experience when fighting this stiff rudder. I have successfully removed the lower mounting bracket. The stiffness must be coming from the hull fitting. Any suggestions? Thanks, Andy / Avocet
