Thanks for your reply Owen. The S&S 34 which is more or less the same boat, but a little shorter at the water line than the 30 by about 3'. It is being built by swarbricks Yachts again just out of Fremantle. They built the three boats that had world records ie Jon Sanders, David Dicks, and Jessie Martin.As for the S&S 30 I know they are coming out of Queensland but not much more.
In my view, having sailed on both the 34 and the 30 for over 20 years I think the 30 is the better boat but cost the same to build as the 34 and thats why Swarbricks built about a 115 34s and only 11 30s in the late 70s early 80s.
