I got a heck of a "bargain" on E-Bay. Bought a tachometer/instrument panel for my Yanmar 2gm20 and it reads low on the engine revs. I think that it might have come off of a smaller Yanmar engine and would like to know if there is anyone out there with a smaller Yanmar that could look up the number of teeth on the flywheel in their service manual. My understanding is that as the teeth move by the senser they produce the output current for the tach and if you have a larger flywheel the tach for the smaller engine would read a lesser rpm.
