Thanks to everyone for the suggestions. Re: Stanchions:I was able to pull the exhaust hose down from the headliner and get my hand and socket in there to remove the screws (no cutting into the headliner). Re: Exhaust: I think I've found a small leak between the standpipe and the engine, which hopefully will lead to a solution. Thanks again.
: My atomic 4 exhausts through some type of
: standpipe through the head and astern down
: the port side. There's an opening in the top
: of the standpipe and a vent in the deck a
: few inches away. My question is: Is there
: supposed to be a hose between these two?
: I've experienced some nasty exhaust smells
: in the head.
:
: Does anyone have CNG for their stove fuel,
: and how are you having your tank refilled?
:
: Any ideas on how to access the underside
: nuts on the stanchions amidship for
: rebedding? On my '72 MKII you can barely
: squeeze an adult hand under the lip, much
: less a socket. If you have this same
: configuration, with very little access, you
: know what I'm talking about.
:
: Thanks for your help.
