DON'T MISS THIS PROMOTIONAL & MARKETING OPPORTUNITY
The airplay and promotion generated by the NCM promo-disc increases with each month. It is cheap and effective. You can't do the job cheaper. We are currently in the process of preparing for the release of NCM#55 that goes to the media (RADIO, PRESS ETC) on 1 July. If you would like a song included, please contact asap as it will soon be full.
Arkansas, USA born & bred, JIM MURPHY 's NCM summer single "Start All Over" was inspired from the inspirational poem "Start Over" by Dr. Kroll, President of "Back to the Bible", whose radio broadcasts are heard daily by millions in the USA and around the globe. (music@missionhousemusic.com )
GEORGE JONES, Country Music Hall of Fame member, lends a hand to support HopeHouse International, a non-profit organization that exists so that orphans in Ukraine can become adopted by Christian couples within their country. A special George Jones miniature rocking chair has been designed and is autographed by George in an effort to raise funds for HopeHouse, which enables adoptions by addressing adequate housing needs which results in three or more children being given a family and a future. www.georgejones.com
Singer/songwriter CHRIS MERCER ’s 'Beauty Of The Jagged Road' released in July is "predominantly Irish Celtic with a touch of alt country." The project was produced by The Electrics' Sammy Horner and as well as seven Mercer compositions includes songs from Australia-based Alex Legg, USA's Phil Madeira and Ireland's Rodney Cordner.
Midlands based THE PAUL POULTON PROJECT are hard at work recording their new album. The CD is to be titled 'Looking For Someone To Blame'.
CMR Nashville is Europe’s #1 Country Music Radio Station growing each month over the last two years, and since March of 2008 since the last report CMR Nashville has increased it’s audience by another 15%. This gives us an average of over 230,000 per month. The Internet Radio hosting company COBCMS had voted us #1 Country Music Radio Station in the world in March and we still have that honour in June. The station features the NCM Radio Show every Sunday morning (8-10pm/London time). contact Lee Williams lee@cmrnashville.net www.cmrnashville.net
"STORY OF J.C." - THE MIGRATORS` new rock opera goes live on the satellite radio INBLU on June 19 at 24h!
"Story of J.C." is taken from the last three chapters of the Gospel of Mark and so it tells the last events from the life of Jesus of Nazareth, his trial, passion, and resurrection. Lyrics are almost completely taken from the Gospel, & action takes place in modern times! www.radioinblu.it (InBlu Home page: click on the Zone Player image/top on the right). www.migrators.net www.myspace.com/themigrators
THE CHOIRBOYS have their self-titled album released into Christian retail by Fierce! Distribution in June. Hundreds of boys were auditioned before Ben Inman (12) from Southwell Minster, Nottinghamshire, and Patrick Aspbury (12) and CJ Porter-Thaw (10) from Ely Cathedral were selected. The album includes such songs as "Walking In The Air", "Tears From Heaven" and "Agnus Dei".
LEE WILLIAMS www.cmrnashville.net writes., “A recent poll from Rajar states that 8.1 million people in the UK alone listen to Internet Radio making this delivery of radio a major player. All mobile phones that can access the Internet can now receive CMR Nashville and CMR Hot anywhere in the world. Links to download the software can be found on our Home Page. With Bluetooth technology you can also listen via your car radio. The stand alone Internet Radios are also becoming the king of the portable radios with over 40 models on sale around the world from as little as £40 UK. lee@cmrnashville.net
Germany’s KIMBERLEY MCLEAN has a music video to the song "Come On Every Nation", and she is working on a project in her village. It is the 750 year celebration of Horst, Germany (her home). She has written a song for the Church and the community and is being recorded and performed by "THE KIDZ OF HORST" -children of the village. She says, “We are in the final stages and will be perfoming the song at the opening celebrations (13 June) and 5 more times throughout that week.”
CAMPBELL MALONE writes from mid winter sunny New Zealand. “Just a suggestion here the deadline for Parachute Festival is in 4 weeks time they expect 25,000 plus next year. Perhaps, worthwhile some of your NCM artists applying.” C.Malone@beth.school.nz
BRYAN CHALKER says, “I am finally calling it a day. Thanks for all your support over the years but I have decided to put my efforts into Council work from now on. I have recently been promoted to Member Champion for Heritage & Historic Environment and was installed this month as Vice-Chair for the whole of Bath & North East Somerset, leading to Chairman next year; not bad for a guy who 'retired' in 2002 but suddenly found a new career in local politics.”
