After 14 albums, thousands of shows in front of millions of people, and many extraordinary memories, DELIRIOUS? have decided that at the end of 2009 to take a break from recording and playing as a band. The band says, “Our decision was triggered by a request from Martin to be released from the band to pursue new projects including his work with CompassionArt and the desire to be at home more with Anna and his children. We have of course honoured this request and made a decision together that now is the time to end this chapter of our lives. We will continue to play and be excited about our current tours and bookings but will not be adding many more over the coming 17 months.”
Steven Bridge writes in Cross Rhythms about ROB ASH’s 'Neon Textures' CD: “Sounding like a cross between Mark Knopfler and Chris Rea, Rob Ash is a singer/songwriter who has been part of the Christian music scene since the '80s. Unless you can appreciate great British '80s music, you've been lost in translation with those comparisons! …This man has produced such a well crafted album … he should be heralded. Tony Cummings states that, "Ash is one of the great unheralded heroes of the British Christian music scene. .. his exemplary guitar licks have added fire to many an artist's work while his own solo albums show him to be one of Christendom's finest blues-tinged rockers." From Wales, ROB ASH says, “ i have just got over operation, that put me out for a month or so. The Neon Textures Tour 2008 is the launch of my brand new cd (Neon Textures) in churches. The concert evening can be booked. (robash405@hotmail.com )
