I hope you have a good washboard player. I think Red is great on this number and there may not be enough going on without it. Good luck. Anyone else? All for now.

Yeah, it is a little off his usual play in E. I'm familiar with Walkin' My Troubles Away and Funny Feelin' Blues, and this song does have some similarities to the latter, especially when he goes to the V chord (B7) and takes it up 2 frets (sorta to the VI chord) and back down, at least in the bass. And he uses the same double pull-off on the IV (A7). He seems to have two parts, the 1st, like a verse, and the 2nd, with the "Lordy Lord" is like a chorus. In the "verse" he seems to go to a quick V chord, moving it up 2 frets and back, like in the turnaround, then to the IV chord. In the "chorus" he seems to stay in the I chord and play around the VI note on the 2nd fret of the 2nd string, and whern he brushes it I think it sounds like he is sometimes catching the open 3rd string, so he's lifting one finger while he's putting down the other. He may be throwing in a bend on the 3rd fret of the 6th string somewhere, too.
