Posted by Easy Rider on March 2, 2006, 8:16 am I have been mesmerized by your recording of Josh White's "Jesus Gonna Make Up My Dying Bed" ever since I got your latest CD. I found a CD of the original and have also been listeneing to that a lot and to other early Josh White songs. He was a GREAT early (prewar) Blues player, and a GREAT singer. I even found a partial transcription, of the first instrumental break, in an old, out of print Stefan Grossman book, but it's not much help to me. I think there may be enough early material to do a book/CD or DVD lesson, on early Josh White, and YOU are the man to do it. What do you say? Would you, at least, publish your arrangement of "Dying Bed", so I can learn to play and sing it?
