Posted by waxwing Unfortunately I don't know if he has appeared on any other albums. More sad news about Steve Mann. I was recently talking to Marc and he told me that Steve has had further neurological surgery. He also said his recovery was slow and that he was yet another step away from the Steve Mann of the '60s. All for now. --Previous Message--

I see Will play occasionally at the Freight and Salvage and other venues around Berkeley (CA). He hangs around with guitarist/luthier Marc Silber, whom I know, and has also played with Steve Mann now and then (with Marc, also). On one special occasion I saw him get up and play with Rory Block at the Freight. She didn't know who he was but took the advice of Maria Muldaur and Marc (whom she was telling Greenwich Village stories about all night) who were sitting, just in front of me, in the first row. She was visably blown away by Will's chromatic harp playing and did several songs with him.

: Will Scarlotti may be familiar to some of you
: as the harmonica player on the early Hot
: Tuna, where he appears to be playing in 10th
: position. I've never heard a harp player
: like him. He's also a longtime friend of
: Steve Mann. Does anyone know if he issued
: other albums. If so, any suggestins as to
: where to dind them? e-Bay is a bust on this,
: as are amazon and gemm.
:
: Any leads greatly appreciated
