Hi Ari - like John, I heard of the DVDs via Stefan on the Woodshed - we, (that is, I and friends) are very excited at the prospect of the Blake lessons, in particular. Many of us have struggled with his style for 40 years or more - but you have it nailed to a unique degree - almost uncanny. Thank you in advance for the generosity that sharing your hard-won knowledge will represent! Can hardly wait..

: -- To Do This You Got To Know How.
:
: I also did three slow breaks myself in
: Lonnie style.
:
: For the Blake, I plan to do Rope Stretching
: Blues, Baby Lou Blues, Southern Rag and one

: Hi Ari,
: I was glad to see on the Stefan Grossman
: website the other day that you were going to
: be filming instructional DVDs on Blind Blake
: and Lonnie Johnson last week-end.
: Congratulations, I know that's a tremendous
: amount of work, doing the transcriptions
: memorizing them and doing the filming. I'd
: be interested to know what songs you taught
: on the DVDs.
: All best,
