Ari--Got your message. I would like to hear from the booking agent. Also I could do a workdhop on my favorite D tuning maestro..Blind Joe Reynolds and King Solomon Hill. Both used Open D as did KS Hill (Holmes) but Reynolds is hard core Louisiana delta. Stay in touch and glad to have an answer back from you. GDW
: Welcome to the Internet and this message board,
: Mr. Wardlow! I'm very pleased to hear from
: you.
: The Port Townsend Festival is in Port
: Townsend, Washington. I think it would be
: great if you could come and do a workshop.
: David Evans was there last summer.
: Could someone email Mr. Wardlow with the
: booking contact info and let me know when
: you've done so? (I'm not sure who's doing
: the booking for next summer.)

: someday--next summer- and do a wokshop on
: RJohnson and others. I saw my name on Weenie
: Cambell once. I authored "Chasin' That
: Devil Music." Just got on the net

: Hey John, I've given your advice serious
: consideration and I now hold not only my
: guitars but other household appliances at the
: 'beneficial' angle. I must admit it has
: improved my quality of life a lot. Also, I'm
: not a 98 lbs. pound weakling anymore.
: Just kidding, I DO tilt my guitar.
: See you at PT this summer (and missing Ari
: already ..)
: Eddy
: Hi Eddy,
: Good to hear from you, and I figured my wimpy
: post had to get a rise out of someone. I'm
: glad you'll be at Port Townsend, but I agree,
: Ari will be missed.
: John

: : Hi,
: I'm deeply hurt that no one commented on my
: incredibly helpful technical advice on
: fingering the F chord with the thumb, posted
: below. I will have to live with the
: disappointment, I suppose. For what it's
: worth though, if you look at films of Rev.
: Davis playing, he is holding the guitar at
: the beneficial angle I described.
: All best,
: John
