acoustic blues workshop, Henderson/Las Vegas area

I'm looking for people in the Henderson/Las Vegas, Nevada area to get together weekly for some sit down, back porch, down home, acoustical blues, primarily for their own amazement versus the bob-and-weave, 10,000 volts, hey lookie me blues/rock that everyone in the Vegas area seems to favor. Yep, they're all would be rock stars here - and a workshop to them is letting you sit in with an established band from 11 to midnight after they're through performing. That's okay, but not what I'm looking for. I learned my licks watching the hands of one of the old time greats, Bernie Pearl, whose weekly acoustic jams in the San Pedro and Huntington Beach area (CA) I really miss since moving to Henderson, NV. John Lee Hooker, in his biog, said his favorite places to play were acoustic coffee houses with no booze and quiet crowds. That's it. Are you out there, people? Guitars, harps, horns, vocals - no plug-ins or drums, please.
