im just a ole country boy in mississippi that started playing guitar long ago and i dont consider myself to be real good but im getting better as the years go by . i,ve had the chance to sit in with some real good players . my friend Chris Ethridge and George Cummings ast on the porch of a condo at gulf shores one night and played with Hank Cochran and Red Lane that was so cool. a ole redneck like me there with George and Chris and 2 guys that are in the country music songwriters hall of fame . then once George and played one afternoon with Gayle Dean Wardlow . it was hard for me to play for watching them play . theres many good players from around east central mississippi thats never been heard of as much as the delta guys . i really got the blues cant get the girl i love then i got caught up in a road block and had too much of that green bud stuff and they threw my butt in jail and still not out of all that but that to will pass i hope . i love all kinda of music except Rap and theres even one rap song i like but nothing got the feelings like the blues . im hoping that one day George will introduce me to his friend Lonnie Mack i talked with him a few times on the phone . i try to steal or barrow as many licks as i can get from these guys because they are very good players . yall help get the hellhounds off my trail .
