Steve Mann, the fingerstyle guitarist who has influenced so many players, is reemerging onto the scene after a 25+ year hiatus. He and I will be performing together at the EPIC ARTS STUDIOS (www.epicarts.org) in Berkeley CA on July 16 with a pending house concert on the 17. The show will be billed as Frank Fotusky featuring Steve Mann. He has a new CD coming out as do I. This should prove to be a great event. In case you are unfamiliar with Steve, he was the inspiration for Jorma Kaukonen's Mann's Fate, Stefan Grossmann's Blues For the Mann, performed with Janis Joplin, was in the Mothers of Invention, and performed on and arranged some of the early Sonny & Cher albums.
