Hi Pud,
After listening to "Jitterbug Swing" several times, I didn't come up with any substantial differences from your lyric transcription. It definitely sounds to me like he is saying, "Then you know you will be doing the thang." Third verse, I think, is "Hey, I can't stand this long. I'm tellin' you womens, I can't stand this long." I think "rounder laying in your arms" is correct, and "drive it in my blood" sounds right to me. Take care.
