Posted by Rob S It's great to see your forum up and running. I have been an admire of yours since seeing you perform some random Saturday afternoon at the Anyhow...I have listened to your CD 100s of times and am always blown away by yur rendtiotion of Southern Rag. Do you offer a TAB of take you put on the CD? I would love to try and learn it. I'll check into the site, or feel free to drop me an e mail if that is better for you. Best regards,

Hi Ari,
I remember reading from the site some 3-4 years ago, but I then thought you took it off line.
Glad to see that is not the case :)
Borders Book Shop in Ann Arbor, MI about ...8 years ago. At that time I was just getting into
John Hurt, Leo Kottke and fingerstyle playing.
I remeber thinking 'wow, that guy is real good.'
But the truth is I had no idea what you were doing, myself being so new to the style.
After your set , I hung out like a true guitar geek, and we talked about James Taylor....
you remeber of course! haha.
You were kind enough to let me play your guitar.
Again, at that time I had no idea what mastery you have over the style....my loss....
I think it is possible with a digital slow down program...and an authentic score.....
I look forward to seeing you perform again, or perhaps teaching a workshop here in the mountains of South Carolina....perhaps at the Swananoa Gathering next summer?
