...try mugwumps.com ...it's a site for Mugwumps vintage instrument magazine, which was published through the seventies, but think it stopped sometime in the past years...it's a font of knowledge for both mainstream and off-beat folk instrument stuff, and if you search their index, you may find something, and then be able to purchase back issues of Mugwumps to get the information...I'd bought an old turn of the centur parlor guitar a few months back with an unusual label and the maker was listed on the mugwumps index of makers...or you can email the founder, Mike Holmes, he may direct you to some written info on parlor guitars...did you try a google search for 'parlor guitar' ?? that may get you something, too...good luck...
