On the F#m7 part you mention, Keb does what I call "The Broonzy Scrub." The right thumb rakes across the strings 6,5,4 to the quarter note beat while at the same time using the pad of that thumb as a mute pressed lightly enough so the notes can be heard but hard enough to make the notes a percussive suggestion. Your fingers on the same hand provide the sycopated rhythm that makes it move. Tom --Previous Message--
