Hey Mal,
Whatever you did, it runs great now. A G4 is the latest Apple computer, although mine, a cube (or toaster), is a year or so old. Every now and then I run into a site (often personal sites) that will freeze it up. I'm thinking of upgrading to OSX soon and also having someone in, who knows what they're doing, to check it out. Looks like you are well ahead of the game. Great site, we have much in common. As a theatre artist for many years (primarily as an actor/director, but often as a designer) most of the sets I created had a strong elemental surrealism, which is now prevalent in sculpture that I do from time to time. Keep up the good work. I'll check back.
All for now.

: John,
: Yes, a removal or moving wagon sounds
: logical. I originally thought he was
: singing about a hearse - obviously wrong.
: What are the Document Lyrics Books? They
: sound like something I desperately need. I
: can find no such books at
: www.amazon.co.uk.
: Your Explorer crashing is a bit of a mystery
: (what is G4?). Ive loaded my web site on
: several versions of Netscape and Explorer
: on different computers with no problem. My
: site has a few basic Java Applets and a
: bit of JavaScript, but I would be
: surprised if they cause the problem (I
: assume you dont have the problem with
: other sites which have Java - otherwise
: you would be having the problem regularly,
: as many sites have Java or JavaScript).
: Just in case, I have removed the Java
: Applet from my front page. However, I
: dont think youll find much of interest
: at my site yet. In the future I will be
: adding some tabs and Mp3s of me playing.
: The Mp3s may be a while yet as I
: currently only have a bottom of the range
: Fender, which was given to me, which
: sounds terrible, has a poor action and is
: horrendously difficult to play. Fender is
: famous for its Telecasters and
: Stratocasters but Ive not heard much
: about their acoustics. I hope soon to buy
: a new guitar. Im thinking Martin or Guild
: (or what other makes would you suggest
: looking at? price range 500 2000
: pounds). Trouble is, in the past I've
: always had electrics. I dont know much
: about what to look for in acoustics, and
: if I pick up a guitar and try it, anything
: will feel good compared to what Ive got.

: Hey, Mal. Bob McLeod, in the Document Lyrics
: Books, has "removal wagon" in
: Lemon's Worried Blues and "moon
: wagon" in Beggin' Back Blues.
: Why does your site crash my Explorer running
: G4?
: All for now.

: Hello,
: In some Blind Lemon Jefferson songs he
: mentions a wagon. But I just can't
: determine what he is singing. I am
: guessing he is referring to a hearse, but
: it sounds like he is singing 'moon wagon'
: or maybe a 'move wagon'. Can someone tell
: me exactly what he is singing? Is it an
: American slang term which I am unfamiliar
: with as I am from the UK? I have given
: below some lyrics to two songs where it is
: mentioned.
:
: In 'Lemons worried blues' he sings: I'm
: worried yeah, worried every where I go.
: ?????????? mama, worried every where I go.
: I worried my ??????????? so late last night,
: she had a ????? wagon backed up to my
: door.
:
: In the song 'Begin back' he sings: Got to get
: that biscuit out the rich man's hand.
: Listen woman tell me what in the world is
: matter with you
: you is acting awful funny gal
: you acting ???????????
: now listen, I'm going to tell you one thing,
: I ain't going to tell you no more.
: you got ta use a new system baby from the way
: you been acting the last thirty days.
: now, if you don't, tonight when you come home
: you'll find a ????? wagon
: at your gate, an you cloths at the front
: gate.
