For some reason I seem to remember that you (John P) are from the Baltimore area. If so, you could easily set up a visit with Neil and his guits at Acousticopia, in Annapolis. A relaxed music store with a livingroom feel. And Neil is a great guy. Just another guitar geek and (fine) blues player like the rest of us. I highly recommend a visit, just so you know what these guitars are like.
