Hi Rosy,
In Italy it's the same, Ahmad passed in July and Gianmarco had his 3rd birthday in September, 2 days before mine, I didn't celebrate mine, but I did celebrate Gianmarco's, because I knew his father didn't want him to miss it, he always found a reason to celebrate, so I did and I know he was there with us to celebrate his son's 3rd birthday, the first one of many without him.
So, I'm sure your dad wants you to celebrate his grandson's birthday and I'm also sure he's going to be there, and your dad will show up in one way or another on the pictures you're going to take.
