Thank you SO much. Sometimes, I have to remind myself that it's OK for me to ask for help for me too. Sense of humor keeps me up. I wear the "mask" of a care giver. I DO feel blessed to have been given this opportunity by Our Holy Father. I have been unable to find competent help for my loved one. I've told the girls that have come to work with him that, "I don't think they are independently wealthy, and were just looking for a hobby." I DO expect for people who are in this field to care! The home health agencies don't have a clue about how to care for a dementia patient. Somehow, I thought they would. Silly me?!
Thanks for letting me vent. I am in process of trying to find help with a lady who works on a national level. I owe her a letter (e-mail).
