I wonder if you can please pray for one of my students. I teach at a high school, and feel I should only give the initial of my student's first nane: K.
K is wonderful. He is a young man whose inner light shines brightly. He is kind, thoughtful, and compassionate. Though I teach at an inner city school with students whose behavior often leave a lot to be desired, K has always been respectful and cooperative in my classroom.
K also lives in "the hood," i.e he has rough surroundings to cope with. K's father died this past week. I do not know the circumstances of his passing. K has not been in school, nor has he returned phone messages and texts that I and many other of his teachers have sent him. We do now know where he is right now and are attempting to find out so we can make a home visit.
My prayers, Dear Lord, are for K to be safe, to return to school, and to let us help him through this difficult time he is going through.
Dear Father, I know you are holding K in Your loving arms and heart. I know that You are watching over K and that all is unfolding as You have designed things to be. I know that what I want for K may not be in alignment with K's life contract with You, and that I need to humbly submit to Your greater wisdom.
Thank You, Dear Father, for looking down on K, and for helping him get through this troubled time.
I thank You with all of my heart and being.
