I recently have posted requests for prayers, and am very grateful for the support you have all given me. Today, I have a great story to share.
I was walking early this morning and enjoying the multitude of birds singing in the day. I thought about my son's new job - his first out of college. It is a great job and he will have a lot of responsibilities. He has been an intern at a school, and as of a couple of days ago, was offered and accepted this paid position that will he started yesterday and will begin being paid for in June.
Alas, I thought this morning as I walked, could I please get an indication from his deceased father that his father knows about our son's new position?
I kept walking. As I walked back to where I was staying, I decided to go down this "Dead End" road, one that, earlier on my walk, I decided not walk down.
Within a minute down this road, there was my sign! A large patch of brightly colored pink flowers. They instantly reminded me of the flowers I planted at my husband's house the day my Grandmother passed away. Rather than right away connect to my Grandmother, I took these flowers as a sign that my son's dad was letting me know he is well aware of our son's success.
I was very pleased for this sign from my (what became) x-husband. Then, I reflected. When did my Grandma pass? I asked myself. Only to realize that it was today, April 19, some 24 years ago, that she left this earth, may she rest in peace and be blessed.
