Ben I'm interested in your photos of the Stanley Cemetery. The names on the headstones are listed at Findagrave.net but they don't show the stones. I would be delighted if you would consent to sending me the photos as well, so they could be added to my website regarding Allen Co., KS. Please let me know what you think of the idea.
Linda - If you have not discovered the location of Bayard yet, it would be simple for you to search for Bayard, KS on the net. Then look at Wikipedia for their write up, it will give you information concerning the site of the small unincorporated community. On Google you can do a map search since coordinates will be given for Latitude and Longitude. I doubt it is on a KS map - but if you search your KS map for Moran, which is on E. Hwy 54 about 8 miles of Iola, then go north on Hwy 59 about 4-5 miles, that little community would be in that area.
Hope to hear from you both.
