Hi Tami,
Just wanted to make sure that you know that Australia has strict quarantine laws for bringing household pets into the country. If you're not already sorted out with this, I'd suggest you research it immediately as their are time requirements while you are still in America that you will need to meet with regards to rabies vaccines and quarantine.
