Advice to an Australian moving to San Francisco

Hi! I will be relocating to San Francisco at the end of January and am hoping to get advice on cheap and efficient moving services from Sydney to California, as well as any advice or suggestions in regards on Australian banks that may or may not have branches in California. I am also really keen to know of any social or sports clubs or groups in SF, or Aussie American Clubs! Also any advice on where to live in SF is also really appreciated – its all so exciting and coming up so quickly I don’t know what to do! Any advice at all in regards to San Francisco is really appreciated!
