Australian PR

Hello,
I am permanent resident of Australia and currently I am in India. I got my residency in September 2003 and I moved to India in Feb 2004. Since then I have not returned. Now I want my PR to be renewed. I don't want to return to Australia before 2010 and at the same time I don't want to loose my PR as well. Please suggest how it can be done.
