Terry,
Many people compare weather here to San Fran. Sydney in the winter can dip down to freezing at night (low 40s at worse if you live near the ocean).
In the summer, it can get up to 100, but not usually near the ocean. Upper 80s and mid 90s is the norm.
Humidity is pretty average, like San Fran. As Drew stated, little to no fog.
And yes, many Sydneysiders wear winter hats, gloves and scarfs, more for the 'look at me' look I think.
Have you looked at places to live? Since you're as USNW, the Eastern Suburbs are probably best.
Let us know if you have any other questions.

: Temperature wise it is probably somewhere
: between San Francisco and San Diego.
: Thankfully never any fog. You will never
: need a warm jacket, maybe a wind breaker in
: wintertime, although Aussie will certainly
: wear gloves and a hat on occasion it is
: ridiculous.

: Hello! My family will be relocating to

: I am thinking that it is probably like San

: Thanks!
