Hello,
My name is Kylie Mullins. I am a Primary School Teacher and I am writing to tell you about an exciting project that I am currently running.
I am creating an awareness campaign about healthy eating starting with pregnancy. I have been trying for 3 months now to get some people on board to help me out with my project.
AIM: To create a fun awareness campaign about healthy eating when pregnant (i.e. ensuring the best start for the baby).
HOW: The 'fun' aspect of the campaign is to ask pregnant women to paint their bellies for a good cause. I am hoping to get a website where women can pay a $5 or $10 fee and then have them send in a photo of their pregnant painted belly. I would love it for the photos to be judged and the best 3 winning photos receive prizes (will need some sponsors).
WHAT I WILL NEED: I was recommended by an American friend of mine to go to this website to ask the American Mothers Association in Sydney to come on board as they would be motivated to do something like this (quite the compliment) also I truly believe that Americans aren't afraid to give something a go (unlike Australians with out tall poppy syndrom).
I am in need of some people to help me out with this project which I believe is a worthy cause.
We will need to get a website set up and perhaps some sponsers.
It has the potential to be HUGE... (i.e. get some celebrities on board?? or it could be small (local communities).
