I have seen a few posts on where to live and am just looking for some additional ideas on areas to see when we go on our upcoming exploration trip. We would be moving from a smaller village area just north of Milwaukee, Wisconsin with a great small community feel but still close to the bigger downtown area. We have two young children 2 & 5 so ideally I am looking for a walkable area with other stay home moms and children in the area, close to school, good schools and recreation, shopping in the area. My husband will be working pretty far west in St. Mary, ideally we would like a 30-40 minute commute so this eliminates anything too far east. The area we are considering is The Hills if anyone has information or specifics on this area that would be greatly appreciated also.
