Hello All,
If any of you are interested in becoming a homestay family let me know. The agency I work for needs families with houses near public transport no more than 30 minutes from the city. You provide a single room ($220 a week) or a twin room ($380 a week) and meals (but no lunch M-F when they are at school). The room should be comfortable with a bed, desk, lamp, and somewhere to keep clothes and books. Luxury not needed! The bathroom does not have to be an ensuite.
The students are aged 16 and up, from Asia, sometimes from S. America or Europe. Many of them have studied "American" English so they would be grateful to live with a family whose accent they can understand!
Great way for your kids to be exposed to other cultures and to earn some extra money.
