Hi Pj,
Congratulations! We are expecting our first one in March as well, and looking around for the same things. We have found things here to be a bit more expensive in the U.S. I have searching places that do baby registries, which surprisingly was difficult. However, Babies Galore does do an online registry, but it seems the online products are limited. However, family and friends can purchase gift vouchers for you to use in the stores. The online babies galore does allow overseas persons to purchase things online which is great. However, you cannot create a registry at the store...if you do you need to speak to the manager and they require a fax, driver's license, credit card info which is a pain for someone buying a gift for you! We are thinking of the doing the online babies galore. Feel free to email me if you any questions. Since we are here for a limited time, we are hiring a travel system (baby carrier and pram).
