My husband was able to use his cell phone from the US when we were here visiting it just cost a fortune so check the rates with your carrier. We just moved here and you can walk into any store and buy a pre-paid cell phone and use it right away. I am still trying to figure out the best plan now that we are getting settled and just use the pre-paid for now.
