We have a son who is starting kindergarten this week. I say, go local. Hunter's Hill has an excellent school, which you will probably be able to walk to, as the suburb is quite small. This also means, that your child's "social" life will be local (b-day parties, play dates, etc). Hunter's Hill to the American School is not a fun commute.

: Does anyone live in Hunters Hill and send
: their kids to the american school? We (me,
: wife, two girls ages 5 and 3) are relocating
: to Sydney and I found a house I like in
: Hunters Hill. Our 5 year old is in
: Kindergarten and we are thinking of sending
: her to the american school but fear the
: commute time will be too much. I understand
: the hunters hill primary school is good.
: Any thoughts, advice?
