Hello! My family and I are seriously considering relocating to Australia. As an Electrical Engineer, I might have a good chance of getting an independant visa on the "In-demand Skills."
I have two main questions. First has anyone been through the independant visa process, and difficult is it?
And, secondly, what are some things an American should know about life in Australia? The norms, the lifestyle, the culture, etc.
I appreciate and look forward to your thoughts.
