If you're after a safe, suburban area, Cherrybrook is fine. If you're after a
bit of a lifestyle & places to go out, cafes, bars etc; Cherrybrook is about as boring as things get! It's cultural purgatory, but clean & safe. My opinion.

: We bought our house in North Sydney/Crows Nest
: and one of the reasons is because the public
: schools, on the Lower North Shore, are
: great. Try to be within easy access to your
: job as well. Traffic can be terrible.
: Public transport is generally reliable -
: busses, trains, trams, ferries.
:
: Like I mentioned earlier, the Inner West is
: great as well. Each area has its own vibe.
: It depends what you are looking for...
: Eastern Suburbs are great, but a bit pricy
: (but then again you have the beaches, the
: cool cafes and bars). The inner West is a
: bit more edgy, but trendy (full of Sydney
: University students and cool ethic food and
: cafes). The lower north shore is family
: friendly and leafy. The further you are
: from the city the bigger the houses and
: plots of land - just like any city. Good
: luck.
