I am searching my father's family. He and my grandparents are deceased and there is no contact with his siblings. My grandfather was rarely spoken of, I know only that he arrived in NZ from Lancashire (or Sth Africa)in the mid-20's and drowned in the Patea River about 1934. There should be an inquest record in one of the Sth Taranaki newspapers, but am unable to find one. Would appreciate knowing how to go about it, or if anyone has info to contact me. Thank you
