Sutherland; Christina born 16 November 1838, Dunbeath, Caithness. Came to Lyttleton NZ on the "Lincoln" in 1867.Married William McLauchlan in Lincoln, Canterbury in the home of Mr. Sutherland. Winesses were James Sutherland, farmer, Selwyn & Marjory Dunn.
Have Christina's death certificate , she died 19 January, 1912 at the home of her son-in-law Frederick Hockings of Laghmor, Ashburton.
Would love to learn more about her parents dates;
William Sutherland & Christina Sutherland (nee Sutherland) or her siblings. Any help would be wonderful. James Sutherland must have been a relation perhaps her brother. Ever hopeful.
