Thomas was sent from Ireland to Australia for stealing sheep. He was sent for by Governor Grey to teach the natives of Rangiaowhia farming & horticulture skills seeing he had the necessary skills to pass on to the natives.
Thomas & Rahapa both are buried at Rangiaowhia. If there is anyone out their that help me please contact me.
