As a child I often visited my Dad's cousin,(your grandmother) whom I called Auntie Nellie, at the business in Ball Hay Street, Leek. I knew all your aunties and worked with Marjorie at Brittains Limited in Cheddleton. Marjorie actually sent me quite a bit of info on the Palethorpes which must have been from you. I also used to play badminton with Enid.

It was my parents who emigrated to Australia, as me and my sisters were already out here. I would be very interested to see the newspaper cutting about their leaving as I don't have a copy of it.
Thank you for the info on John Rushton. I find it difficult to find much info from New Zealand.
Do you live in NZ or are you in the UK?
