Iaorana (Kiaorana) Kevin,
My name is Tema HAUATA. I noticed the exchange of information between you and yours relatives the following website http://members2.boardhost.com/babz/msg/1234850826.html
I freequently traveled to NZ, and I have the same quest than you for our ancestors, try to look for them.
I especially noticed that my family name could be sound a maori name,as one of my ancestor NGAUTA came from Cook Islands. Every time I spent in NZ, I have that deep feeling, perhaps I was walking in the land of my ancestor!
I'm very glad today as I found you in the websit. So, I'm very interesting to exchange with you my genealogie and in a way back may I have yours, that could we compare our genealogy.
The HAUATA family in french polynesia originally they were nestled in the Island of TUBUAI in the Australs Islands right down to the south from the Island of TAHITI far about 600 km, or 1h30 flight.
Do you speak french?
I look forward get news from you, and God bless.
Regards
Maururu roa (thank you very much)
