Yes its great to hear from you & yes dad has told me a few stories of John (Jack) West. Jack worked for his uncle James Power at Aohanga on the station.
Dad said to say giday to Honk when you see him next.
Interesting thing happened a few weeks ago i had a descendant of James Power start work for the company i work for. I took into work a few photos of James Power whanau & Rahapa to which she was really pleased to see.
Well Bill enjoy your vist to the T.A Museum i have been their a few times since the handing over of the taonga. Its great to see Rahapa's descendants visiting the Museum seeing that was the sole purpose of the gifting of taonga so everyone can see them.
