Forgive me but I'm very curious to know how you are?
4 things have spurred me into action. The kind of conversations one has with family when you lose people(amongst others, Tony, my brother who ended up in a wheelchair for 35yrs, died in 1999), my brother Colin, searching his Beckford family tree, me finally having an email add and now a laptop, plus my partner, of 7mths, who has strong connections in NZ(his sister and her family).
I would have been living in Clifton Road, I think, when you left the country for NZ? We kept in touch for a while, probably until my Mum died in 1968, but I'm not sure...life changed a lot after that.
Your Mum changed your name to Cox after she and Len divorced? I was young(48 now), so am relying on my memories...
Aside from all that I wanted to say hello...if you're curious too, please be bold and write to my email add...I'd love to know how Annette and Leon are, if you're in touch with them...Wendy, Sylvie???
