Her mare had significant pain when she was "in season," and it helped from the standpoint that the mare was no longer in pain. It didn't make the horse's disposition any softer, or make her any less dominant, or get rid of that nasty cow-kicking habit she had.
It was extremely expensive, from what she told me.
