I agree on some level, but then I see some trainers who unilaterally fail to get good scores at horse shows. It shows a fundamental lack of understanding the training scale that we use in dressage.
I do agree that some trainers push young horses too hard - that's why you want to see how a horse does over their career, not just the first couple of years.
But I would personally have concerns about a trainer who was consistently scoring poorly at shows.
