I have a difficult gelding that is driving me crazy. He is a very well balanced and supple horse that carries himself well and is light in the bridle. BUT.... everytime I ask him to stop he throws his head forward and stops hard on his front end. I don't even touch his mouth and he does this, He will usually stop when I just sit down on him, but he stills throws his head out and plops down on his front end.Now I have tried everything for the last 3 months to fix this. If anyone can help suggest a few exercises that they have used to get their horse to sit down on their hind end and stop that would be great, I've never had a horse this difficult. Everything else he is great about, it's extremely frustrating.
